The story:

 

California Wines iconic brand best known for their classic red and white wines. In 2019, they embarked on an initiative to modernize their business model through a digital transformation, traditional marketing and collaborations ultimately shifting from a predominately offline business (catalogs and print ads) to focus on their eCommerce marketing channel, and branding placement capabilities.

To increase awareness for their diverse offering through search results, collaborations and partnerships it was important for California Wines to be present in partner restaurants  and partner promotional material. We executed a content strategy for California Wines, compromised of:

  • Print Marketing
  • Social media graphics
  • Infographics

Results:

 

Through a series of research exercises, the solution to California Winess’ challenges took a multi-faceted approach:

  1. Enhance their presence in bars and restaurants across Nairobi
  2. Ensure that California Wines had direct partnership or affiliations with these bar and restaurants across Nairobi
  3. These partnerships and affiliations would link into brand awareness as branding material would include both California Wines and client
  4. California Wines needed to refine their branding to better match a person’s intent when searching for gift basket products online.
